Her latest video for the sexy trap bop, IDK and it’s layered with evolution from the artist. True to her city, the record is a sexy spin on the triplet flow, an Atlanta staple that hip-hop has adapted over the years.

IDK is produced by Grammy nominated and multi-platinum producer Epikh Pro (Bryson Tiller and Cardi B) and the track is an assertion of her new sound, style and brand, “Had to switch my style up b***** getting greedy, had to switch my style up being me ain’t easy.” Her natural trap cadence and sultry tone is what makes this record a banger—it’s an anthem of confidence and ownership of women sexuality.

“I can’t f*** with nobody from the past year, I’m on some new s*** you still on that last year, hit’em one time, baby you can’t crash here.”

Directed by Chi Chi Foreign the visuals of IDK are seductively reminiscent of creative genius of Missy Elliot and Busta Rhymes. Set in a vintage virtual reality— the video feels like a time jump to the pin-up era. High on precise period appropriate attire the models are outfitted in schoolgirl skirts paired with pinned up hair and pearls. Each set is different and feminine, with close attention to eclectic set design and elaborate props. Bella Blaq is beautifully the center of it all— coming in sensual, but with powerful lyrical delivery.

IDK is a follow-up to last March release "Booty". A song that went viral, amassing millions of views and inspiring a challenge #bootychallenge on Tik Tok. Parlaying momentum from her supporters— who she affectionately named the Loto Gang. IDK has followed suit already garnering over 70,000 organic views on YouTube since the video release on December 16th or last year. Bella Blaq is not here to play.

Raised in Blakely, Georgia a town 3 hours outside of Atlanta, Bella Blaq has been rapping since the age of 14. Influenced by Missy Elliot, Andre 3000, and Aaliyah, you can hear and sit the best part of those artists in Bella’s music. Previously opening for Atlanta greats, Future and 2 Chainz, she is building a brand and a fan base. Bella Blaq is a triple threat. Complete with grind, personality, and talent.  It’s only a matter of time before she’s topping the charts.

Be on the lookout for her collaboration project Epikh Pro.
