Focused on building himself spiritually, mentally, and physically now Ace is ready to show the world how hard work pays off. Announcing his EP release "M.I.N.D." (Memories Inside Never Die) and dropped, “Glory”— the second single from the project.
“Glory,” produced by Oliver Bassil & MakeTheNoises and engineered by Holla Fame gets into Ace’s journey to success. The track highlights the obstacles he faced and how he always stood 10 toes down no matter the circumstance. Refusing to fold is a testament to his leadership and fight,
“I feel like I’m Huey P. when in the march/I feel like I’m Malcolm X with the chop. Ain’t no more doubtin’ my greatness/Look adversity dead in they faces.”
The lyrics are poetry, and the record is a refreshing and necessary perspective in music.
If “Glory” is only a fraction of what we can expect from the forthcoming EP, we have high expectations. The single follows the first track from the project, “Little Light” another motivating drop released in late 2021. Ace announced M.I.N.D. will arrive on February 25th via Hood Nation/Empire. The project kicks off his career as an independent artist.
The Broward County, FL native was the first to put the city on the map. Ace Hood earned Gold and Platinum plaques and has charted as a Top 10 album. Ace established himself as a Miami rap legend and has forged the path for so many others. The journey to independence has not been an easy road, but he’s never felt better. Ace’s dedication to his mental and physical health has positioned the foundation to produce incredible art.
Ace Hood
With M.I.N.D. dropping next month, Ace is on a mission to build an independent legacy and from the sound of “Glory,” paired with his killer catalogue we have no doubt he’s going to win.
