Bio
Alternately merciless and vulnerable, streetwise rapper Trapboy Freddy has been active since the mid-2010s with a slew of mixtape releases and guest verses, plus performances in and around his native Dallas, Texas.
Born Devarius Moore, Trapboy Freddy freestyled as a teenager but didn't take rapping seriously until the age of 21, once he became determined to put street life in his past. Drawing from his experiences as a poverty-stricken youngster and eager hustler, he quickly amassed a sizeable catalog of self-released mixtapes, and as a tireless performer became a major local club draw. Among his self-released output is a four-volume series beginning with 2014's 1st Quarter, a 2016-launched series dubbed Trapboy Freddy Krueger, and the 2018 tapes No Feelings and Rockboy Freddy 2020 Flow. By the end of 2018, Moore had dozens of featured appearances to his credit, plus co-headlining tapes with fellow Dallas-Fort Worth artists Slezzy Bezzy and Go Yayo.
